Currently, my artistic practice focuses on the exploration of color, light and space as carriers of emotion and tools for contemplation. I create abstract paintings that do not refer to narrative, but open a space for inner experience – quiet, sensual, personal. My paintings refer to Zen philosophy and Eastern aesthetics, in which attentiveness, simplicity and deep presence are the essence. Subtle tensions are crucial in my works: between silence and intensity of color, between emptiness and form. They are an invitation to stop, breathe and experience color as living energy.
